SERVICE and Spare Parts

Our Service Team consists of specialists for all 3 domains: PREPRESS, PRESS and POSTPRESS.

The extensive experience of our SERVICE department (established in 1997) and the technical training courses performed periodically at the equipment manufacturers, provides a high level of services for the equipment in our portfolio.

Heidelberg Romania provides advantageous cooperation solutions based on contracts: maintenance contracts, "Partner" service contracts, inspection and/or refurbishment contracts, Service Cards.

The Service Department provides the following types of services for the equipment in our portfolio:

  • — installation, disassembly or reinstallation of equipment;
  • — training of operators for the operation and maintenance of the equipment;
  • — repairs, overhaul, and inspections of the technical condition of equipment;
  • — specialised maintenance of equipment according to the manufacturers’ recommendations;
  • — replacement and adjustment of inking and dampening rollers;
  • — cylinder repairs;
  • — optimization of inking characteristic curves on particular types of Heidelberg printing machines;
  • — calibration of the CtPs exposure according to the types of plates used;
  • — periodical calibrations for Axis Control 1; Netprofiler for the current systems of spectrophotometric measurement of color;
  • — software upgrades, backups of settings and user data (Prepress and particular Heidelberg printing machines);
  • — Telephone Technical Assistance, Remote Service Diagnosis and Remote Service Inspection.

It is well-known that equipment performance rates are maintained only with original spare parts, as they have the major advantage of meeting the high-quality standards of the manufacturers (Heidelberg, Polar, Gallus, G&J ...). Original spare parts benefit from guarantee only if installed by our service technicians.

Orders for spare parts are sent viae-mail or by fax and must always include the part number and name from the spare parts catalogue, together with the equipment model/type and serial number.
